The user can escape the traffic with the most accurate real-time traffic information. The user can view their trip in either a metric system or an imperial system, select a mode of transport and also view the estimated time and distance to the destination. Go from here to anywhere. With TravelEasy the user can:
- Register using the application. This registration information is stored in an online, hosted database.
- Login to the application using their username and password. The information is retrieved from the database.
- Store or change their settings in the database
- View data in the metric system (kilometres) or imperial system (miles)
- Select a mode of transport ( car, walking or public transport)
- Select a destination by address
- Calculate the best route between the current location and destination.
- View the estimated time and distance to the destination
- View the route visually on a map
- View history of trips which is stored and retrieved from a database
